Texarkana Steampunk Christmas Ball fundraiser 2011!

The Texarkana Renaissance Faire club hosted A Steampunk Christmas Ball, December 18, 2011 at the Blues Iguana Coffeehouse. It was kind of a small turnout but we had BIG fun! Everyone looked just splendid! Thanks to everyone who came out to show your support!

Renaissance Faire 2012 Dates and Times

TRFC Halloween Zombie Madness Party!

Saturday, October 29, the TRFC in collaboration with the Blues Iguana Coffeehouse hosted ZOMBIE MADNESS Halloween Party. It was a success! We did zombie "makeovers", a zombie walk downtown and a silent auction to raise money for the upcoming Faire in 2012. BIG BIG thanks to everyone who came out to show their support!

The Texarkana Renaissance Faire Club is an organization that my husband and I started in August 2011. Our mission is to bring Texarkana it's very first Renaissance Faire! The Club is made up of a group of locals who absolutley love the idea of this Faire and have committed to devote their time to building it up in any way possible. We expect to have over 60 vendors and many professional acts for the stage. The Faire will be held at the Four States Fair Ground, October 5-7, 2012. Proceeds from the event will go towards the hosting of the next year's Faire. Your help with our event would go a long way to making our dream a reality.

It's official!

The Faire will be held at the Four States Fairgrounds in Texarkana, AR. October 2012!!

The official date of the faire has not been set yet but we know it will be in October 2012. The location of the faire will be determined this Friday and revealed later this month. Ooooooh the suspense!

We're bringing something awesome to YOU Texarkana!

No longer will you have to drive hundreds of miles to get to a good Renaissance faire. We're bringing one to you! Right here in Texarkana! Are you ready? More info coming soon!

BIG PLANS unfolding

Planning for the Texarkana Renaissance Faire is alive and kicking! It's going to be bigger and better than we thought! Oh joy!!!

Faire Develpoment Update

Now that it's out there, I just wanted to share with everyone that the official date has not been set yet. We are discussing the possibility of anywhere between August 2012 and November 2012. We would hate for the faire to clash with the scheduling of any major faires going on in the area at that time.

What we can tell you is that the faire will be family friendly with a low admission cost, low vendors fees and too much fun and entertainment to handle.

I'm so glad that you all will be seeing our work in progress as we plan this thing from the ground up. It's going to be an exciting adventure that I hope will run for many, many years.
